Open Settings, Shipping Rules in Addora ↗The final delivery total can include an eligible Shopify shipping rate plus Addora fee lines, less applicable discounts and available shipping credit. A zero Addora base fee does not guarantee free delivery. The estimate can be unavailable when address, currency or rate information is missing; checkout confirms the final amount.
The four layers
- Base fee. A flat amount that applies to every combined shipment. You set this once in your shipping settings. It is the starting point for every fee calculation. See Set the base shipping fee.
- Country fee. An optional extra amount added on top of the base fee when the destination is a specific country. Useful when shipping to certain markets costs more. This is a paid-plan feature. See Set prices for specific countries.
- Shipping rules. Optional rules based on the shipment's total weight, value, or item count. A rule can add an extra fee, give a discount, or grant free shipping entirely. This is a paid-plan feature. See Shipping rules: discounts and free shipping.
- Combine discount. When a customer ships several held orders together in one go, Addora makes sure they are not charged for shipping multiple times. This discount keeps things fair. See The combine discount.
How the calculation runs
Addora adds the base fee, the country fee (if any), and any extra fees from rules together to get a subtotal. Then discounts from rules are subtracted. If any rule grants free shipping, the fee drops to zero regardless of the subtotal. Any eligible shipping credit recorded from source orders is then subtracted from what remains. The final fee is never below zero.
