Addora is a Shopify app for build-a-box, buy now ship later, and customer-managed consolidation. We help vinyl stores, trading card shops, comic retailers, and other collector-focused merchants ship with more clarity and control.
Why Addora exists
Most Shopify stores still operate on a one-order, one-shipment assumption. That breaks down fast for collector businesses where customers buy across drops, pre-orders, restocks, and repeat checkouts before they are ready to ship.
Addora was built to solve that gap with a real buy now, ship later workflow inside Shopify. Customers can place orders now, hold them in a pending state, and later combine multiple purchases into one consolidated shipment.
We focus on making that workflow understandable for customers and manageable for merchants: better checkout messaging, self-serve order management, flexible fee logic, lifecycle tracking, and post-purchase automation.
How Addora started
December 2024
Co-founder Eloise missed out on a pair of shoes after holding off to reach free shipping. It sparked the question that became Addora: could this work differently?
June 2025
An MVP emerged showing real demand, but turning it into a production-ready Shopify app required stronger technical depth and operational polish.
November 2025
Eloise connected with Jeroen through the Y Combinator Matching Platform. He brought the engineering expertise needed to turn the idea into a robust product.
February 2026
The upgraded Shopify app officially launched, with an early focus on collectible and hobby stores where shipping friction was hurting repeat purchases most.
