Open Settings, Shipping Rules, Countries in Addora ↗

Country fees let you charge a different shipping amount depending on where the customer is shipping to. When a customer ships their held orders, Addora checks the destination country and adds the country fee on top of the base fee.

Watch the workflow. Use the written instructions for your store’s configuration; all example data is illustrative.

When to use country fees

  • You ship to multiple countries and carrier costs differ significantly by destination.
  • You want domestic customers to pay one amount and international customers to pay another.

How country fees work

Each country fee is an extra amount added on top of your base fee. If your base fee is $5 and you set a $10 fee for the United States, a US customer pays $15 for their combined shipment. If no country fee is set for the destination, only the base fee applies.

Where to manage country fees

  1. Go to Settings, Base fees (in Addora ↗).
  2. Press Add country to add a new entry.
  3. Choose the country and enter the fee amount in your store's currency.
  4. Save. The fee takes effect immediately for new combined shipments.

Removing a country fee

To stop charging an extra amount for a country, open the country entry and delete it. Customers shipping to that country will then pay only the base fee (and any rule adjustments).

The final delivery total can include an eligible Shopify shipping rate plus Addora fee lines, less applicable discounts and available shipping credit. A zero Addora base fee does not guarantee free delivery. The estimate can be unavailable when address, currency or rate information is missing; checkout confirms the final amount.

Open Ship Later coverage in Settings. Stores using market-driven shipping select eligible markets and complete the displayed coverage/approval checks; legacy stores select delivery profiles and zones. Saved coverage is not necessarily verified or active. Check the product, destination and selected setup path before testing checkout.
