The final delivery total can include an eligible Shopify shipping rate plus Addora fee lines, less applicable discounts and available shipping credit. A zero Addora base fee does not guarantee free delivery. The estimate can be unavailable when address, currency or rate information is missing; checkout confirms the final amount.
Why this matters
The customer selects purchases for one new combined checkout. That checkout, rather than a discount alone, brings those purchases into one shipment payment. Shipping discounts can adjust its eligible real rate; Addora fee lines and available prior shipping credit are separate parts of the calculation.
How it works
Addora installs an automatic shipping discount in your Shopify store that activates whenever a customer starts a combined shipment checkout. The discount is calculated from your shipping rules (if you have any) and applies at checkout so the customer sees only the correct combined fee. You do not need to set it up manually. It is created and maintained automatically in the background.
What the customer sees
During the combined shipment checkout, the customer sees the shipping fee after all adjustments. The fee summary shows each layer: the base fee, any country fee, any rule adjustments, and any discounts applied. If free shipping applies, a single Free Shipping line at zero appears instead.
Checking if the discount is working
If a customer reports being charged shipping multiple times in one combined checkout, see Avoid charging shipping twice. That article explains how to check your shipping settings and Addora's delivery setup to find the cause.
