Set the base shipping fee

The final delivery total can include an eligible Shopify shipping rate plus Addora fee lines, less applicable discounts and available shipping credit. A zero Addora base fee does not guarantee free delivery. The estimate can be unavailable when address, currency or rate information is missing; checkout confirms the final amount.

Where to set it

1. Go to Settings, Ship Later (in Addora ↗).
2. Find the Base shipping fee field.
3. Enter the amount in your store's currency.
4. Save your changes.

How it combines with other settings

• Country fees add on top of the base fee for specific destination countries. If a customer in Germany ships their held orders and you have a Germany fee set, the total is base fee plus Germany fee. See Set prices for specific countries.
• Rules can add an extra fee on top (for example for heavy shipments), apply a discount, or grant free shipping. Rules are applied after the base fee and country fee are added together. See Shipping rules: discounts and free shipping.
• The combine discount ensures that when a customer ships several held orders together, they still pay shipping only once, even if those orders originated from separate checkouts.

Setting it to zero

Zero is a valid Addora base fee. It removes that fee line only; an eligible Shopify delivery rate, country surcharge or matching adjustment can still be payable. Confirm the real total in a shipping checkout.

The shipping method name

Enter the checkout name and a description of up to 150 characters, preview the result and save. Name and description customization is available on every plan, including Free. Marker-free detection needs a distinct configured name for each published storefront language.
