The demo uses example wording so you can experience a complete journey. Merchants can customize Addora’s messages to match their terminology and brand voice. Shopify’s own checkout and account wording follows Shopify’s settings.

Customize the shipping method name and description on every plan. Shopify Plus stores can also customize the optional Addora checkout block in the Checkout Editor.

PRE-ORDER

Set the promise in your language.

Customize the delivery name and the messages shown around product forms, product cards, and expected availability.

HELD ORDERS

Make self-service feel native.

Edit headings, descriptions, buttons, badges, sign-in guidance, empty states, and release-flow instructions in the theme or customer-account editor.

Look for: the explicit delivery choice, a paid order that stays held, and the self-service path to ship later.

TWO PLACES TO MANAGE THE SAME ORDER

Both pages show the same Addora-held orders and release actions. The difference is where the experience lives, so you can compare the two approaches without creating a second order.

STOREFRONT PAGE

Inside the store theme.

This version feels like part of the merchant's branded storefront. Sign in with the email used at checkout, then review or release the held order.
AFTER CHECKOUTReturn to the demo store and choose Your held orders in the navigation.

SHOPIFY CUSTOMER ACCOUNT

Beside Orders and Profile.

This version lives in Shopify's native customer-account area. Sign in with the same checkout email and choose Held Orders from the account menu.
AFTER CHECKOUTChoose Customer account in the demo store footer, sign in, and choose Held Orders.

Try either page after one Ship Later checkout. Releasing an order in one view changes that same order everywhere.

TEST PAYMENT REFERENCE

Nothing here charges a real card.

The demo is a Shopify development store with its Test payment gateway enabled. Use test data only, and do not enter real payment details.

BEFORE YOU START

A few practical notes.

  • Use a working email to test either Held Orders page.Shopify may send a one-time sign-in code. Use the same email at checkout, on the storefront page, and in the customer account.
  • Use non-sensitive test contact details.A valid-format shipping address may be needed to calculate delivery options, but the demo team will not fulfill the order.
  • Expect a real test order record.The checkout is simulated, but the order is created inside the Addora demo store so the workflow can continue.
  • Want to start over?Open a private browsing window or use a different email alias to keep test journeys separate.
