Open Settings, Pre-orders in Addora ↗Current order handling offers Ship ready items first or Require separate carts; the native buyer path labels the mixed-cart choice Allow mixed carts. Older whole-order behavior remains until changed and saved. A reliable split is required for partial shipment; otherwise Addora conservatively keeps the affected order waiting.

With separate carts required, the validator rejects a mixed purchase and asks the customer to remove one product group. Supported exemption products can remain where configured. The rule covers Addora-owned native preorder plans as well as supported legacy classification; it is not a promise about unrelated selling-plan apps.
On a legacy checkout path, Ship Later availability and the normal-versus-Ship Later delivery choices are separate settings. On the native path, use the current controls and its verified delivery connection. Test a regular cart, a preorder cart and a mixed cart after saving.
