Open Settings, Fulfillment & integrations in Addora ↗Addora is compatible with Mintsoft when Shopify tag import and two Mintsoft Order Rules are configured. The setup imports held orders early, keeps them out of picking, and prevents Addora's combined billing order from becoming a warehouse shipment.
How the Mintsoft workflow works
- A customer places and pays for a Ship Later order. Addora puts its Shopify fulfillment order on hold and adds your pending tag.
- Mintsoft imports the paid order and an Order Rule moves it to Awaiting Confirmation, where it stays out of picking.
- When the customer pays to ship, Addora releases the selected original orders and creates a separate order for the shipping payment.
- A Mintsoft rule cancels that separate billing order using its addora-combined tag. This releases any Mintsoft stock allocation without cancelling or refunding the Shopify order.
- The original orders leave Awaiting Confirmation through the release procedure agreed with your fulfillment partner. Mintsoft picks and despatches those originals, then sends fulfillment and tracking back to Shopify.
Before you start
- Ask your fulfillment partner for access to the Mintsoft Shopify channel settings and Order Rules setup.
- Confirm the Mintsoft Order Rules module is enabled. Remedy's Mintsoft package already includes it.
- Keep Addora on its default combined-order mode unless Addora support has approved a different Mintsoft workflow.
- Choose a dedicated pending tag, such as addora-ship-later. Do not reuse it for ordinary orders.
Step 1: set the Addora lifecycle tags
- Open Settings, Fulfillment & integrations (in Addora ↗).
- Set the pending order tag to addora-ship-later, or another value agreed with your fulfillment partner.
- Optionally set the released tag to addora-ready-to-ship if the agreed Mintsoft release procedure uses a released tag.
- Save the settings and give the exact tag values to the person configuring Mintsoft.
Step 2: configure the Mintsoft Shopify channel
Ask the Mintsoft administrator or onboarding team to apply these channel settings:
- Enable Import Shopify Tags into Mintsoft.
- Import paid, unshipped Shopify orders.
- Disable only import orders fulfilled from a specific location for this workflow. When it is enabled, a held order can be skipped until Addora releases it.
- Agree the current import lookback and recovery settings with your Mintsoft administrator. Values and limits can depend on the account/version; do not treat a lookback as unlimited. Import and park held originals promptly, then test an order older than the normal import window through the documented recovery procedure.
- Keep the normal Mintsoft despatch and tracking updates to Shopify enabled.
Step 3: cancel the combined billing order
Create and activate this Mintsoft Order Rule:
- Condition: the imported Shopify order has the tag addora-combined.
- Action: Cancel Order.
- Expected result: Mintsoft cancels the order internally and releases its allocated stock. The Shopify order remains unchanged and is not cancelled or refunded.
Step 4: park held original orders
Create and activate a second Mintsoft Order Rule:
- Condition: the imported Shopify order has your Addora pending tag, for example addora-ship-later.
- Action: Mark Awaiting Confirmation.
- Expected result: the paid order is visible in Mintsoft but cannot enter the normal picking workflow while the customer is still waiting.
Step 5: agree how released orders become pickable
When the customer pays to ship, Addora releases the Shopify hold, removes the pending tag, and can add your released tag. Ask Mintsoft onboarding to document the exact action that moves an order already in Awaiting Confirmation back into the fulfillment workflow. This may be an account-specific automatic action, a validated rule, or a manual confirmation step.
Test the complete workflow
- Place and pay for one Shopify Ship Later test order.
- Wait for two Mintsoft sync cycles. Confirm the order appears in Awaiting Confirmation and cannot be picked.
- Record whether Mintsoft allocated stock to the parked order, so the warehouse understands its availability figures.
- Use Addora to include the test order in a consolidated shipping payment.
- Confirm the original Shopify hold is released and the pending tag is removed.
- Confirm the original leaves Awaiting Confirmation through the agreed procedure and becomes pickable exactly once.
- Confirm the order tagged addora-combined is cancelled only in Mintsoft and has no remaining allocation.
- Despatch the original order in Mintsoft with test tracking.
- Confirm fulfillment and tracking reach the original Shopify order and Addora shows the expected shipped state.
