Changelog: What's New in Addora
What's new in Addora
A plain-English summary of the most useful recent updates for merchants and customers.
March 2026
Guided onboarding with progress tracking
Addora now includes a dedicated onboarding flow for billing, shipping setup, delivery profiles, emails, and customer order pages, with clearer step status, a stronger completion view, and in-app onboarding help requests.
Smarter dashboard and cleaner app navigation
The admin app was reorganized into clearer areas like Dashboard, Onboarding, Operations, Guides, Settings, and Diagnostics, and the homepage now gives live stores a more useful day-to-day overview.
Better checkout copy setup and previews
Merchants can now manage both the Ship Later name and a short checkout description, preview that copy during onboarding, and follow a clearer checkout UI guide for getting the customer-facing experience right.
Expanded diagnostics and webhook visibility
Diagnostics now include recent webhook event history, better filtering, health and readiness checks, and stronger troubleshooting support for checkout, fulfillment release, and tracking issues.
Customer order tracking is now visible on the storefront
Shoppers can now see tracking details and shipment links on their customer order pages, and Addora can sync tracking from billing fulfillments back to original orders when that data is available.
More reliable delivery customization and profile pricing
Delivery customization enablement was hardened, custom delivery profile prices no longer reset unexpectedly, and checkout extension defaults stay aligned more reliably across setup changes.
Stronger storefront reliability for customer order pages
App proxy verification and request handling were tightened so Ship Later storefront pages, tracking lookups, and other public customer-order requests fail less often.
Better billing detection for Shopify Plus trials
Plan detection now handles Shopify Plus Trial stores more accurately, reducing confusion during billing and onboarding for merchants on that plan type.
February 2026
Smarter fulfillment holds and releases
Addora can now place fulfillment holds, release them at the right time, and keep the Ship Later flow more closely aligned with Shopify fulfillment.
Optional auto-fulfillment for original orders
After a consolidated shipment is completed, stores can now choose to automatically fulfill the original held orders too, reducing manual cleanup.
New Statistics view for pending shipments
The old pending-orders area was upgraded into a more useful statistics dashboard with summaries for pending orders, customers, countries, and estimated shipping fees.
Manual Add to Bundle tools
Merchants can now add existing paid but unfulfilled orders into the Ship Later flow, which is useful for older orders or exceptions that need to be bundled manually.
English and French language improvements
The admin app and storefront extensions received broader translation support, making the experience easier to use across multiple languages.
More accurate shipping rules
Condition logic was tightened so pricing, quantity, weight, and discount rules behave more predictably and match what merchants expect.
Custom shipping method naming
Stores can rename the Ship Later shipping method to better fit their brand and checkout experience.
Better setup guidance
The homepage became a clearer setup guide, with stronger navigation, quick actions, and better help content for getting merchants live faster.
Improved Order Summary setup
Merchants now have clearer guidance for creating a customer-facing Order Summary page where shoppers can review their Ship Later purchases.
January 2026
New subscription and billing model
Addora introduced a more complete subscription system with plan handling, usage tracking, warning states, and clearer billing controls.
30-day free trial
New stores can start with a 30-day trial, making it easier to test the app before committing to a paid plan.
Better billing visibility
Pricing screens and billing warnings were improved so merchants can understand plan limits, overages, and account status more easily.
Usage warning emails
Merchants can now receive helpful billing emails when they are approaching limits or need to take action.
Clearer order lifecycle statuses
The app added stronger lifecycle labels and tags for orders, making it easier to see whether an order is pending, billing-related, dispatching, or shipped.
Customer order selection for checkout
Shoppers can choose which eligible orders they want to ship together instead of being forced into an all-or-nothing flow.
December 2025
Simpler and more flexible shipping fees and discounts
The fee and discount system was reworked to support clearer condition-based rules, including shipping adjustments, percentage discounts, fixed discounts, and free shipping scenarios.
Consolidation-first checkout flow
The product moved fully toward a consolidation-based shipping flow, simplifying how bundled shipments are created and checked out.
More polished customer order pages
The storefront Ship Later and customer orders experience received upgrades so the buying and shipping flow feels more consistent for shoppers.
