From cards to comic books, here are some real ways stores are using Addora
to give customers flexible and affordable shipping
Bry’s Comics introduced their Build a Box feature by announcing it on their YouTube channel and walking customers through exactly how it works. The response was immediate, and the comments quickly filled with positive feedback from collectors saying the feature would help them save on shipping and that it was something they’d been hoping for.
They also created a dedicated Build a Box page on their website so customers could easily understand the process and start using it.
Because comic collectors often move quickly at checkout to secure limited releases, Bry’s Comics wanted to make sure customers were intentionally choosing this shipping option. To do this, they enabled a confirmation step requiring customers to acknowledge they are selecting Build a Box shipping before completing their order.
This extra step helps avoid accidental selections and ensures customers understand their order will be held until they decide to ship.
All of the messaging is fully customizable within the app, with a 30-day free trial available to get started!
Cards in Japan is one of our first users and introduced the feature to their customers by explaining their process on their Instagram account. By clearly walking collectors through how it works, they helped set expectations and made it easy for customers to start using the feature.
They also shared feedback noting that
“The app is amazing, it’s extremely convenient, and I was even surprised that it’s the only one that allows customers to combine multiple orders into a single shipment. It’s a game changer for e-commerce websites that ship to the other side of the world and have relatively high shipping costs. The team that created the app is also very responsive and ready to help whenever needed.”
